Can I see your ID?

The last time I got ID’d trying to get to a race was when I was running a cross country race on the Air Force base in Colorado Springs. On Saturday we were racing the Federal Center Circuit, and every time we left and came back we got our IDs checked again.

Avivah was the first finisher for Brown and Wills, with a 2nd place in the Jr. Women 10-12.

Ryan had a strong start but all plans for a victory were foiled by a rabbit that ran in front of him. He missed the rabbit, but hit the curb and went down.

Ethan took 4th in the 15-16 catagory, coming in with the chase pack after solo leader Patrick Stockton.

Trevor came in 2nd in the 17-18 catagory after a hard fought sprint. Only a few hours later, Trevor and Ethan both went back out to race with the Cat. 4 men. Later in the day, I raced with the cat 4 women and found out for myself how exciting the wildlife can make a race when one of the attacks in our race was neutralized when the attacker almost hit a prairie dog.

Our entire pack came in together and I took 2nd in the field sprint.
