The good, the bad and the ugly

I've been looking for a commuter bike for a while now, but I kept coming back to the Raleigh Pub. After months of indecision, I finally picked up it up yesterday afternoon. It's hard to explain how cool this bike is, but you can check it out.
So everything was going really well when I went to my second Red Rock Riders of the season. We were rolling along at about 25 mph when I hit some glass and cut through my sidewall. My tire was done for, and I had to get my dad to give me a ride home. Not quite the ride I expected, but there wasn't much I could do about it.
But this morning was when things got really ugly. I was checking out my new cruiser in the cul-de-sac, and could't quite figure out the coaster brakes. I crashed hard without a helmet, and ended up with a concussion and stitches in the back of my head after a quick trip to the ER. So it might be a few days before I get back on my bike. I hope everyone else is keeping themselves in one piece.
